Former MEGADETH Bassist JAMES LOMENZO Joins Forces With Ex-LAMB OF GOD Drummer CHRIS ADLER In 'Metal
Former MEGADETH and BLACK LABEL SOCIETY bassist James LoMenzo has announced the formation of a new project with Chris Adler.
LoMenzo broke the news of his collaboration with the ex-LAMB OF GOD drummer during an interview with "The Blairing Out With Eric Blair Show" at last month's NAMM show in Anaheim, California.
LoMenzo joined MEGADETH in 2006 and appeared on two of the group's studio albums, 2007's "United Abominations" and 2009's "Endgame". He was fired from the band in 2010 and replaced with returning original MEGADETH bassist David Ellefson.
In addition to MEGADETH, LoMenzo has played with Ozzy Osbourne, Zakk Wylde and WHITE LION. For the past six years, LoMenzo has been performing with iconic rocker John Fogerty.
LAMB OF GOD officially parted ways with Chris last July. His replacement is Art Cruz, who has previously played with PRONG and WINDS OF PLAGUE, and filled in for Adler on several LAMB OF GOD tours in 2018 and 2019.
In addition to LAMB OF GOD, Adler has played drums with a number of metal artists, including MEGADETH, NITRO, BLOTTED SCIENCE and PROTEST THE HERO.
